Based on positive reviews tried this local dive. Lots of staff, clean, warm and welcoming, decorated for the season. A real home cooked kinda place. I had 1 egg combo with one slice of bacon. Bacon was crispy and a decent thickness with lots of flavor. My husband had two eggs over easy. meal served hot. Good service. Pay at the front desk. The only odd thing was our efficient server was braless and her girls were jiggly. That made it a little too casual and a disconnect. Worth a chuckle but what woman size C/D goes to work with no over the shoulder boulder holder?

Food was great, came out hot and fresh. Server was very pleasant. Would go back. I would recommend you go give them a try.

You want service with a smile this is your place. Everyone genuinely seems to like working here. Danica did a great job. Her welcoming smile, pretty face and sweet demeanor was the perfect start to my day. The food is awesome! The texture of my cheese grits was smooth with a nice mouthfeel. Over easy eggs were cooked to perfection. Nice job guys. Nice job.

This place is a hidden gem! Just look for the GIANT ROOSTER in front! Despite the bustling atmosphere, it's clear why there's always a crowd. The popularity is a testament to their quality. From the moment you step inside, you're greeted by an energetic vibe that sets the tone for a great experience. The food/service lives up to the hype. Love the pancakes and chicken fried steak...can't forget the grits!! Homemade comfort food :) While you might have to wait for a table, it's well worth it. The busy nature of the place ensures everything is fresh and the staff is on their toes. If you're looking for a lively spot that locals clearly love, this is it.

Food: Tasted homemade. It was delicious. Best of all, their grits tasted homemade and normal as well, which for Houston area, I have had a hard time finding good grits. 5 stars. Service: Friendly and warm. 5 stars. Ambiance: The feel reminds me of the old 70s TV classic "Alice." All of the staff's / servers' friendliness and personalities reminded me of Alice, Vera, and Flo. I was just hoping to see Vic Tayback's Mel to pop out from the kitchen. 5 stars. Parking: I can see why this place is popular. It is jammed packed. Parking is limited. Nothing they can do about it, but it is the only drawback. 4 stars Overall: 5 stars

Fantastic service, tremendous food, and very affordable pricing! This would be my top recommendation for a classic breakfast in Spring! Treat yourself to the pancakes, even if you order one as a side, they are worth it!

Quaint breakfast spot that reminded me of home cooked meals and breakfast at Grandma's house! They provide a cute breakfast nook ambiance complete with rooster and diner decor! I love their build your own omelette plate because they had a good variety of options available to add. Their patty sausage was amazing and the hash browns hit the spot. I was also pleasantly surprised by the affordability of many dishes. Parking onsite - although parking might be more difficult on the weekends/early mornings. Do note that they close at 2pm! If you're looking to add a new go-to breakfast spot, this is the place!

My wife and I came here for breakfast one day. Been wanting to try them for a while. They were busy, a good sign. The restaurant was clean and the staff was very friendly. My wife ordered the Eggs Benedict with avocado and I ordered the Philly, hold the onions and peppers. Both were prepared well and were delicious, although my wife would prefer the hash browns crispier ( I agree ). Overall a good experience, we will be back.

The staff were very attentive and helpful. They had knowledge of there menu down to a science. The place was like a true southern brunch home cooking restaurant. We walked in with a large group and we're greeted immediately with a smile and pleasant conversation. My table got 2 steak breakfasts, one big stack of pancakes and I got a sausage egg and cheese burrito with hash browns. It was all delicious.
